Till the end of year 2008, VINAFOR reviewed and planned 193,118 ha of forest and land areas | | 
12:00' AM - Wednesday, 16/09/2009 | | Implementing Circular No. 04/2005/TT-BTNMT dated July 18, 2005 of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on land use and management, Vietnam Forest Corporation has been reviewing and planning forest and land areas under its management.
As the result of reviewing and planning at the end of 176.117 ha of forest and land areas had been classified as follows:

- Production forest: 146,948 ha, including:
+ Natural Forests: 30,786 ha.
+ Planted forest: 42,643 ha.
+ Bare land: 56,519 ha.
- Protection forest: 30,861 ha, including:
+ Natural Forests: 13,573 ha.
+ Planted forest: 7,123 ha.
+ Bare land: 10,165 ha.
- Special-use forest: 631.8 ha.
- Other land area: 14,677 ha.
